End-to-End Casting Support

We support aluminum casting programs from tooling through final inspection, with in-house pattern equipment, machining, and hands-on project support.

Pattern Tooling In-house pattern design and build for prototype and production tooling, using urethane, wood, and aluminum based on part geometry, quantity, and lead time.
Aluminum Grades A356, 356, 319, 357, 443, 535 (Almag), and 713 (Tenzaloy). Alloy selection and heat treat requirements supported based on part geometry and end-use application.
Casting Processes Aluminum sand casting for low- to medium-volume applications, including green sand, no-bake, and 3D printed molds. 3D printed molds support rapid prototyping, complex geometry, and reduced lead times without hard tooling.
Machining CNC machining to finished part specifications, including critical features and close-tolerance work.
Finishing & Surface Treatments Anodizing and other surface treatments supplied as required, based on part specifications and end-use environment.
Inspection & Quality Dimensional inspection and NDT coordination, including X-ray and liquid penetrant inspection as required. Documentation support includes FAIR, PPAP, and material certifications.
Engineering & Program Support Print review and manufacturability input to help move parts into production. Alternate methods such as billet hog-outs can be considered for early-stage or low-quantity requirements.

Why Work With CPM

CPM supports aluminum casting programs with in-house pattern expertise, controlled execution, and one accountable team from print review through final delivery.

In-House Pattern Expertise

Pattern tooling is built and controlled in-house, allowing faster iterations and better alignment between tooling and production.

One Accountable Team

From initial print review through final delivery, each project is handled by a single team responsible for execution, quality, and timing.

Process-Driven Results

Clear workflows from tooling through machining and inspection reduce variability and keep projects moving predictably.

Flexible Volumes

Built for prototype through low- to medium-volume production without the constraints of high-volume foundries.

Consistent Delivery

Repeatable processes and defined checkpoints help ensure parts are delivered as expected and to specification.

When CPM Is the Right Fit

This page is built for buyers and engineers sourcing aluminum castings that need more than a basic quote.

CPM is a strong fit when:

  • You need aluminum castings with machining completed
  • You want one accountable source for tooling, casting, and finishing
  • You are working from a print and need help developing the casting
  • You need consistent repeat production, not just a one-off sample

Typical aluminum castings include:

Housings, covers, brackets, valve bodies, pump components, and structural aluminum castings.
