Where we come from
A pattern shop first. That is why we see casting problems before they start.
Family-owned across three generations, CPM Industries has supported manufacturers since 1960, with a foundation built in pattern tooling. Successful casting programs do not start at the pour. They start with the right tooling, the right production plan and clear direction from the beginning.
Today CPM is a casting partner. We own the engineering, the tooling and the outcome, and each part is produced by the foundry partner best suited to its alloy, size and quantity.
Because of that background, we often spot risks early that would otherwise lead to delays, scrap or added cost. Customers come to CPM when a simple quote isn't enough. They want a real review of the print, honest feedback and one accountable partner from start to finish.
Many of our customers have worked with us for decades.
What CPM owns
Everything around the pour, so the part is right before it and after it.
- ENGINEERING
Print review
Prints are checked for fit before we quote. Walls, stock and tolerances are checked before tooling is built.
- TOOLING
Patterns and core boxes
Designed and built by our pattern makers in wood, urethane or aluminum, and controlled by us for the life of the program.
- CASTING
The right foundry for the job
Each job goes to the foundry partner best suited to its alloy, size and quantity. We make sure the print and the pattern are ready for them.
- MACHINING
Finished to print
Machining scope and datums are planned with the pattern, so parts arrive machined and finished to print.
- QUALITY
Certs checked before they ship
Every material cert is checked against your print and spec revision before it reaches you. ISO 9001:2015 certified.
- FIT
If your part isn't a good fit, we'll tell you quickly.
You get a straight answer before anyone spends time on a quote.
